I celebrated my grand birthday last Friday with my dearest friends and my loving girlfriend, Candy. They had planned this event 2 weeks ago and kept it a secret from me till Friday. I was kept in the dark for 2 freaking weeks and never smell anything a miss. No wonder Candy was unsually quiet this month, usually she will ask if I want anything for my birthday.

I am really thankful for what you have done for me, the planning, the chalet, the cake and everything. As we enter the 3rd year of our friendship,I hope that we will continue to lead successful lives and our friendship continue to blossom thanks!

To Candy,

As the mastermind behind this wonderful birthday party, I say that this is my most wonderful birthday party ever. I was caught completely off guard although, I looked like I am very cool at first but deep inside me I actually feeling really happy and totally SURPRISED! You are such a wonderful girlfriend and I know that I cannot live without you. Thanks for everything :)

I tend to start blogging religiously when

1) I don't love my work so blogging is an avenue for me to destress

2) I am bored

Hence, with the current situation I am in, there should be plenty of nonsense here from now onwards Last Sat, I had a BBQ session with my poly classmates. It has been a while since I last attempted to cook something decent.

The worst part of BBQ is to get the charcoal to burn. It takes alot of ferocious fanning and even more swearing to start a fire.

This year Valentine's day is on a weekday so we didn't really celebrate. Anyway, as with all typical couple I bought Candy a lovely bouquet of Tulips which was really nice and very cheap.

I bought this lovely bouquet of tulips during Valentine's day for a measly S$35. (6 tulips although picture only show 2)

Yesterday, I was in my Sister's house to celebrate the 1st month on earth birthday of her daughter. It is amazing how time flies, now I can consider myself as an uncle! Pei qi is so lovely that everyone will be proud to be her mom or dad!

It has been so many months since I last sat down and type something decent. I shall cut all the bull shit and just write all the updates in point form.

Oh and by the way I also manage to save some money for the past 2 months.

I have graduated from Advance Diploma in Mass Communication with one more year to go for my Degree. Did I mention anything about my driving test?

I PASS THAT FREAKING TEST ON THE 2nd TRY.

That was 2 months ago and I have been driving my dad old garbage. Amazingly in just two short months, I was fine twice for parking my dad old garbage in a coupon parking area with no coupon. I am waiting for another fine for driving on the bus lane during restricted hours.

I also knocked trees, knocked down a motorcycle and scratched a couple of cars.... Luckily, I come out of each accident unscathed but I can't say the same for my dad's old garbage.

It is time for a little update to satisfy the appetite of my vicarious readers out there. My job has been fulfilling on the other hand human relationship is a little fragile these days. I pissed off a few friends here and there but I came out of every bad episodes unscathed, stronger and happier then ever. I thank god again for giving me the strength to persist.

Work has been fun. Sales are coming in I've also received quite a few accolades from my co-worker and managers - Fantastic.

Oh ya, did I mentioned anything about my grades for last semester? I score credits for all 3 modules. For those slower readers out there credits are a notch lower than distinction.

These just goes to show that studying is overrated. I skipped lectures to earn my money, I didn’t do any tutorial and only mugged like a day before each exams and my grade is still good.

My girlfriend is still there for me whenever I need her. She has found a grossly overpaid job. She is getting 66% more pay then me! The kind of low work, high income job that I can only envy.

I am suffering from insommia

Because of this job I have not been sleeping well for the past few weeks. It is probably due to the stress of having to meet my monthly sales target, fixing appointments or cold calling. This job is putting a heavy toil on my body.I hate cold calling although this is the basic of sales; I hate the idea of disturbing people.

Although sales is not easy I still see myself in sales for quite sometime. My goal is to work in this company for at least 2 years.

I would be meeting 2 clients today this is like my 2nd and 3rd appointments in one month! Let hope that when I am talking to my clients I don't stumble upon my words. I still have not claimed my taxi claim from my previous appointment. Somehow, I actually feel embarrassed to do so.

If I am not working I will be on the phone with my girlfriend. As mentioned earlier in my previous entries she is in Indo to settle her house. It's amazing how therapeutic talking to my girlfriend can be. It is like talking to god but in stereo.

She should be back on the 3rd September. Meanwhile, I am going through a strict regime to cut and trim my fats. 45 mins of cardio (running), 8 chin ups (at least) and 60 sit ups (at least). The main idea of these exercises is to lose weight and tone up my arms and abs.

A friend of mine has finally received the yellow ribbon (national service) but the 'jail wardens' have not anticipated his date of freedom well enough. They haven't done the necessary paper work hence, they are withholding his pink identity card and asked him if he could come on Wednesday to collect it.

What a bunch of slackers...
